a thought for the Haitian people

It has now been reported that the death toll has reached 100.000 after the Republic of Haiti was hit by a major earthquake on Tuesday 12 January shortly before 17:00 (local time). The earthquake, magnitude 7 on the Richter scale, has detroyed most of Port-au-Prince, capital of Haiti.
My heart goes to Haiti and his people who have already endured enough. Fos é kouraj!

I couldn't believe what I was hearing this morning while watching the news. The magnitude of this disaster is tremendous. My heart goes out to those that are suffering, and to those who have lost their loved ones.

I heard it first thing this morning when my alarm radio went off and couldn't believe it but I went back to sleep...then when I woke up I forgot about it. My mother mentioned it to me on Skype not long ago and I then caught up with the news...the year is beginning with a major natural disaster and a bigger one for Haiti who has been through so much already. Thanks for your thought, my friend!
